Did you know that 89% of buyers say they would use the same Realtor the next time they need one but only 29% actually do? Why? Time, that's why! Time goes by and if you do not keep in touch with past clients then you have a great chance in losing their business. Finding an appropriate way to approach past customers without coming as salesy or pushy is a delicate balance. That said, here is a very subtle way to go about it. Get a copy of the HUD Settlement Statement from each closings you had last year and send it via email to the respective customers with a letter explaining that some closing costs might be tax deductible (consult a CPA). This way you'll be fresh on their minds and they will be grateful for the service and advice. If you do not have a copy handy, your broker might or the title company.
