The Matrix is Here! Matrix MLS That Is!

Do you want to take the Blue pill and stay in your world or you rather take the Red pill and see the truth? Ok, for those of you who haven't watched Matrix the movie, the question above might not make much sense at all. The point however, is that want it or not our new MLS platform is here and is here to stay! Some colleagues I have spoken to believe the lack of access to our traditional MLS systems these past days is a plot to force us to move over to Matrix MLS; so the previous versions (i.e. Fusion MLS and MLXChange) can be "retired". Whether you want to believe the plot theory or otherwise, the fact of the matter is that for over 24 hours if we needed to work on anything MLS related our only option was Matrix. Additionally, if you take a Matrix class at the Miami Board, you'll be advised that inputting and editing a listing will ONLY be possible thru Matrix as this feature will be removed from MLXChange and Fusion MLS sometime this summer (as early as this month!). There is a great deal of positive within this situation though! Matrix is an amazing program, with features that allow us to work more efficiently with customers, it is extremely fast and runs on any device that can connect to the internet and use a browser (i.e. PC, MAcs, Tablets of any kind, smartphones and even Kindles!). Besides, learning new skills keep our brain young and exercised! So, the takeaway from these past days and these past paragraphs is that we need to learn Matrix whether we take the Blue pill or the Red one.
