Now the Soccer World Cup is over is time to get back to business as usual (or unusual, after all we are talking about real estate, right?) Do you check the Tax Roll before getting a listing agreement signed, a purchase offer submitted or a lease contract delivered? We might omit a very important safety check on account of the rush to get "things done". So if you want to avoid the call from a tenant you just placed on a property that is getting foreclosed; or if you want to avoid finding out your listing agreement was signed by the owner's nephew the day after you placed a $500 add on a magazine; or if you don't want to find out that your full price contract has been accepted by of the "only" owner at record (so now not even your listing agreement is enforceable). Then do yourself (and your customers) a favor and check the Tax Roll before you ... Here's a very simple way of getting to get the information we need.
