What are Those Darn MLS Area Maps Anyways?

Seasoned Real Estate agents and old timers are used to speak in Realtors lingo, and when it comes to property location often times make reference to MLS areas (i.e "I'm looking for an apartment on area 1081" or "just got this beautiful house listed in ares 12"). Now MLS areas are kind of tricky, as they are not the same as zip codes, geographically speaking. In other words, they do not match zip codes areas, or any other commonly used area for that matter. So how do we find the territory each of these MLS areas covers and where can we get these maps? The answer is HERE!
