What better way to start the new year than being thankful for the business we've done with prior customers! The new year brings a unique opportunity to contact people you have help rent, sale or buy a house. If you send them a card, email or any other means of appreciation at this time of the year, you most likely will stand out from the rest as most people send them during the holidays. One way to really stand out is to send you customers (buyers or sellers from last year) a copy of their HUD settlement statement with a instructions to give it to their accountants as some expenses might be tax deductible. This way your card serves a double purpose, you are wishing them well for this starting year and your are helping them to potentially save some money! Guess what they'll comment to their friends and acquaintances when a real estate topic comes up in any conversation!
