Imagine for a minute you have a deal where the seller is located in Patagonia Argentina, the buyer is located in Siberia Russia and the only parties to the transaction in the US are the listing and selling agents. How do you proceed? Well, as much as this story sounds a bit farfetched, this happened in real life and I had the opportunity to assist the listing agent to get it all done with the assistance of eSign. As we all know (well at least now everyone will know!) we have access to a program called Form Simplicity thanks to the Florida Association of Realtors. The program is meant to help us conduct a paperless transaction in its entirety. Now, maybe not all parties to a transaction are comfortable to do it this way for their own personal reasons and we have to be sensitive to their wishes. However in this case the deal would have been practically impossible to get executed without eSign. By the way the transaction got signed by all parties in 24 hours. This tool is great as it allows us to have documents executed on the spot! Imagine going into a listing presentation and walking out with a signed listing agreement or having a contract executed during an open house! Although this is a paid service ($59 per year for unlimited transactions) it is worth every penny! Here is a step by step guide on how to use eSign from Form Simplicity. Disclaimer: I do not make any money, benefit in any way, form or fashion from your purchase of this feature.
