Wedding Crashers or Networking?

Wait! This is not an attempt to encourage anyone to dress up with a night dress or tuxedo and go crash a wedding party; after all it is not wedding season yet! However, it is the time of the year when all kinds of wedding related events take place and what great place to meet future home buyers! Actually, some very creative Realtors have suggested that instead of a wedding registry, bride and groom could set up a bank account to deposit cash gifts and save for a down-payment on a new house. After all, home ownership still ranks up high in the wish list of newly weds. Even if the couple is not ready to buy a home, they will need to rent so either way our services are needed. This is a great way to plant the seed for future business! Here is a link to wedding events that will take place in Miami. Expo booth anyone? Also, consider sharing the cost of participating in any of these events with a none competing business (i.e. wedding cake companies, decorators, etc.)
