Understanding our prospect customers demographics and the way they look for our services, is key to deciding where we should invest our time, money and efforts in order to gain their business. As time has gone by some traditional ways of advertising have lost the spotlight they used to enjoy. Newer more up-to-date media has moved in to fulfill the hunger for information buyers and sellers express via their millions of queries. Our presence is those media channels is crucial to sustain and gain new business. Additionally, knowing to whom we are speaking is very important. In other words, being "at the right place at the right time" is only part of the puzzle; our message has to be appropriate for the crowd we are addressing as well. In an effort to help us (Realtors) better understand Sellers, the National Association of Realtors has put together the following information that shows how their behavior has changed from 1981 to 2014.
